Your first visit
Nothing gets done on the first day
The first appointment is for looking and talking. You will leave with a written plan and a price, and you decide in your own time.
Before you come
We email a short medical history. Fill it in at home rather than on a clipboard in the waiting room with somebody watching.
The examination
Forty minutes. Photographs, X-rays if they are due, and a proper look at the gums, which is the part most practices rush.
The conversation
We show you the images on the screen and talk through what we found, including the things that do not need doing yet.
The plan
Emailed the same evening. Every item priced, ordered by urgency, with an honest note about what happens if you leave it.
You decide
No follow-up calls. If you want to go ahead, book. If you want a second opinion we will send your images over ourselves.
If you are nervous
Tell us when you book and we will give you a longer slot and a morning appointment, which most people find easier.
You can stop at any point by raising a hand, and you do not have to explain why. Sedation is available and costs nothing extra for a first examination.
